Emergency School Closure Procedure

Dear Parents and Carers,

In the event of adverse weather conditions, a decision about an emergency school closure will be made by 7.30am on the day.

A message will be sent to all parents via ParentMail confirming the closure on the first day. On subsequent days, please look on the websites below.

Information about an emergency closure will be put on the school website: https://stmarymags.co.uk/

The East Sussex County Council website, www.eastsussex.gov.uk will also be updated every 15 minutes with information about emergency school closures.

Parents can also get an email alert from the County Council when this school closes unexpectedly by registering your email at: https://apps.eastsussex.gov.uk/educationandlearning/schools/schoolsearch/8453028.aspx

Information about emergency school closures will also be shared by the following radio stations: BBC Sussex, More Radio, Heart FM, Hailsham FM, Seahaven FM, Ashdown Radio

In order for the children to continue their learning, teachers will send work via Class Dojo on each day the school is closed.
